With five wedding reception venues Gretna Hall can also cater for your wedding function as well as your accommodation needs.
To organise a wedding reception at the Gretna Hall Hotel you need to do the following :
- Make a list of the number of guests attending, their accommodation needs and their arrival and departure dates.
- Telephone the Gretna Hall Hotel on 01461 338257 to check availability and to make a provisional reservation which will be held for 14 days.
- Confirm Booking with a deposit: we require £50.00 per room per night, £15.00 per person for meals and 50% of the total cost of your function room hire.
Table plans and linen
All tables are dressed with white linen table cloths and napkins. The
plans are suggested seating and in most cases we are able to offer alternatives
which we will be happy to discuss.
Balloons
We offer helium gas balloons and weights at a charge of £60.00 to fill
a maximum of 30 balloons. A selection of balloon colours and weights are
available.
Wedding Reception Venues
1. Criffel Suite
Situated on the ground floor, the Criffel Suite is able to cater for up to 35 guests (minimum 25) for a wedding meal and if required a private bar.
The bar is open between 7pm and midnight unless otherwise stated.
Seating plans can be in a formal E shape (top table seating 8) or informal tables
of up to 8 persons.
Hire Charge: £100.00
2. Annandale Suite
Also situated on the ground floor the Annandale is able to accommodate up to 45 guests minimum 30) for a meal and contains a small dance floor.
We are able to book a disco on your behalf for this room.
Seating plans can be in a formal E shape (top table seating 8) or informal tables of up to 8 persons.
Hire Charge: £100.00

Annandale & Criffel Suites
These two rooms can be used together for parties of up to 85 persons.
When using these two rooms in conjunction with each other suggested seating
plan is an informal setting with a top table of up to 8 persons.
Hire Charge - £190.00.
4. Ramsey McIntosh Suite

A
quiet room situated on the first floor in the original part of the hotel
which has been refurbished to accommodate parties of up to 24 guests.
The
atmosphere is enhanced with the addition of a log fire in cooler months.
Seating plan in this room is boardroom style with a large oval table.
Hire Charge: £200.00
5. Anvil Restaurant
Our main Restaurant is situated on the first floor where bookings can be made for any number of guests from 2 to 150.
6. Annandale Suite
There
are a large number of seating plans suitable for this room dependent on
the numbers of guests attending.
Private Dining: £250.00
